AAC Consultancy
AAC Consultancy is an independent Speech and Language Therapy Service run by Gillian Hazel. Gillian has over 25 years experience working with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She has extensive experience in working with: children and young people who use AAC e.g. signing; graphic symbols; Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCAs); access to technology; cause and effect software; supportive writing software; training about all areas of AAC; AAC audits for schools; setting up outreach work; medico-legal assessments. Gillian works with individuals, their families/carers and other professionals to design and set up communication systems. I also work with adults with AAC needs.

Gillian RumbleThe Website of Gillian Runble who specialises in AAC and neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and head injury. Gillian also works on a regular basis with children from nursery to secondary school age who have language or phonological difficulties and with adults after an acquired neurological condition. In partnership with VOCAtion, she is called upon to represent parents at SEN Tribunals and have over 15 years experience as an expert witness for medical legal cases for both the claimant and defendant. Gillian can visit visit clients at home, school or in hospital and believes that the greatest success is achieved by working as a team.
