IMPact: IMPlementing Augmentative Communication Training
Impact is an acronym for IMPlementing Augmentative Communication Training. Originally written in the late 1990s, it comprises a numer of chapters that address different aspects of AAC and incorporate a number of cartoon characters illustrating particular concepts. It concludes with a comprehensive Bibliography and Reference section.
Please note that this section on the website is currently in development: the text has been placed on the pages without the pictures to which the text refers. Many pages have yet to be formatted correctly, so there is a lot of work still to do. However, if you are brave enouh to venture there you may be able to figure it out! I would advise you come back to this section at some point in the future and, when you can no longer read this paragraph, you will know that the IMPACT section of the website is ready for visitors!!
